Making the Sea Monster: Part 3

The Sea Monster is coming along! The tail and back legs are sequinned and the finger and tail claws are in place. The claws are made of fake fingernails that I trimmed to size. I melted two holes into each nail base and sewed to the digits before sewing on the sequins.

Now a little shimmer polish and toe scales.

I usually follow this blog, but don’t post here. I just wanted to inform that some hours ago the AwardsWatch forums (an internet community with more than 1,400 active members oriented to film discussion) has published its list of the 50 best animated movies of all time and “Blood Tea and Red String” was there in the #36 spot. Congratulations. Of course, in my personal list is much higher, but I think that this is quite good in a list that aggregates so many different tastes.
